Tree Frog Night

"A B&B that is beautiful, not cute. You drive off Washington 542 into a cedar forest, leaving behind the speedy jangle of city and highway to be enfolded in a realm of quiet beauty. It's like sitting on the forest floor - but with every comfort. My room at the Tree Frog Inn was not only immaculately clean and well-ordered, but artful and welcoming. Everything in it had clearly been carefully selected and thoughtfully placed. The room felt like an extension of the forest outside its beautiful, large windows. I felt invited to make full use of the amenities of the Inn and very much appreciated the fact that it is maintained with an authentic effort to honor the environment and operate with small footprint--no mysterious chemical cleaning and disinfectant odors and even a compost receptacle. I sipped wine by the creek, slept beautifully, and would happily have stayed much longer if I'd had time. I will definitely return."

tree frog night

in a silver cedar forest --
a full creek accompanying
a tree frog chorus

My love and I listen...
as spring symphony
dreams flow
and softly sounds
of breathing slow

in our grateful
snoozing
ovation!

Accommodations

Photo of Cottage Exterior in the Snow We have designed two uniquely beautiful king suites and a queen guestroom for your relaxation and comfort. Each is tucked in among the 100 foot cedars, giving them a romantic, tree house-like feeling where you wake up to the sounds of nature. One guest appreciated, “the attention to every detail is beyond our expectations. The decor, the food, the delightful coziness, the greenery...one word: BLISS!” We strive to earn such a complement by creating an artistic and tranquil environment with luxurious amenities and all the comforts of home.

In keeping with green, eco-friendly practices, we have used natural materials such as tile, stone, natural fabrics, and sustainably harvested hardwood and bamboo in all three suites and guestrooms.

The amenities you will find in both king suites and the Forest Room include comfortable posturepedic pillow top mattresses, plush down pillows and duvets (firmer, hypoallergenic options too), high thread count soft cotton bed linens, a taste of fair trade organic chocolate at your bedside, beautifully tiled private baths, oversized plush towels, organic cotton robes, organic personal care products including hand-cut soaps, free wifi, flat screen tv with DVD/CD/iPod dock system and hundreds of movies to borrow from, desks with comfortable chairs, coffee makers with delicious fair trade organic coffee and real organic cream, porch and bedroom candles, nine foot ceilings, warm fir window and door trim, hair dryers, make up mirrors, microwave popcorn, access to a washer and dryer (fee for use), iron and ironing board, sounds-of-nature player, radio alarm clocks, and dimmers on the lights to create a bright to quiet or romantic ambiance. Air conditioning units are available for our guests during the hottest days of summer. Opening skylights in the suites, many screened windows and forest all around keep the rooms cool on other summer days.

The eco-friendly hot tub for two is down a short path in a semi-private enclosure that is open to the starry sky. The cozy infra-red dry sauna is adjacent to the suites. The furnished, sunny back patio and deck with a fire circle and propane BBQ are available for guest use as available by advanced arrangement.
